But it's not just the smooth transactions that count: when things go really wrong, we don't give up. Alexei bought a Space Echo from us and was unfortunate enough to be one of several customers whose machines were supplied with brand new loops that failed due to quality control issues (we've now had loops regularly fail from three online suppliers but have finally sourced reliable replacement loops).
"Bought a Space Echo from SG (first time buy). The tape stuck on arrival - I was immediately sent a replacement tape loop. This got stuck, so SG collected the unit, and had it back to me within a week. It got stuck a third time so SG again collected the Echo & fixed it. They changed tape supplier (the cause of my issues) and my Echo has been running daily ever since. Unmatchable service for vintage gear - I now buy with complete confidence, a rare thing for such old and fragile units." Alexei
